The Samiti offers residential accommodation for 76 patients with two escorts each at the Sadan. This facility is offered to patients visiting Mumbai for medical treatment for one month. During their stay at the sadan, efforts are made to sort out their problems, and thereby creating a ‘Home away from Home’ for them. Every year on an average, more than 1700 patients are provided accommodation in the Sadan. These patients come from different States of the Country and also from Nepal. The patients and their relatives are given proper food (breakfast/tea, lunch & dinner) at very subsidized rate. Ambulance service for going to nearby hospitals is also available. Library is available for them in which books in different languages are available for reading. TV is also available for entertainment. Special yoga classes are held for the cancer patients. On Sundays, special lunch with entertainment programs are arranged with the help of other NGOs / donors.
